LaxTech Pee-Wee Lacrosse (Nevada Youth Lacrosse)


Six weeks of great lacrosse experiences will begin Tuesday, May 22, 2012. Sessions are every Tuesday from 4 to 5:30pm for 6 weeks through June 26, 2012.

This is open to new and experienced 1st through 5th graders.

During the sessions players will learn the game of lacrosse from experienced lacrosse players and coaches. Players will have a great time learning lacrosse rules, fundamentals, shooting, passing and catching.

Registration is Saturday April 28th at LaxTech from 5pm-8pm. Come see the facilities and register at 5975 Topaz Street, Las Vegas Nevada 89120.

The cost is $120 per player for the entire 6 sessions.



Zip-it 2012 Summer Travel Placement Evaluations are Friday May 18, 2012


What: Zip-it 2012 Summer Travel Placement Evaluations. Players of all ages will be evaluated for placement on one of the Zip-it Summer Travel Teams.

When: Friday May 18th, TBA- sometime after 4pm up until 9pm.

Where: Cactus Wren Park, 2900 Ivanpah Drive, Henderson, NV 89074

Who: Youth (4th, 5th & 6th graders), Middle School and High School Players will be evaluated for placement on one of multiple team rosters and preparation to play on a Zip-it Summer Travel team. Zip-it Starz Lacrosse Club School Affiliations include: Bob Miller, Del Webb, Henderson International, Greenspun, Thurman White, Bishop Gorman, Coronado, Foothills, Green Valley, Spring Valley. Players affiliated with the Saints and Faith Lutheran lacrosse teams can choose to participate with either of the local Starz teams.

Zip-it 2012 Summer Travel Trips


What: Coronado Island

When: June 22-24, 2012

Who: Zip-it Travel Teams of all ages (Youth, Middle School, and High School)

Transportation: Leave by bus on June 22nd

Additional Information: The Coronado Island Trip is Mandatory for players that want to participate on a Zip-it Sonoma Shootout team. All players participating on a Zip-it Travel Team in the Coronado Island tournament will be granted early registration for Zip-it teams travelling to the Sonoma Shootout and a chance to participate on West Coast Starz Elite Teams.

Sonoma Shootout: High School - July 20-22

Sonoma Shootout: Middle School - July 27-29



Summer Indoor Lacrosse at LaxTech's air-conditioned indoor facility will start in June 2012


When: Every Tuesday and Thursday from 4pm - 8pm on 6/5, 6/7, 6/12, 6/14, 6/19, 6/21, 6/26 & 6/28

Game times and teams will be divided by age and ability.

Teams will include a minimum of 15 players. Game format with 6 vs. 6.

Cost: $150 per person.

You will play on brand new fields in a state-of-the-art facility with refrigerated air. Registration will be online soon. The first to register will be placed on available teams. Teams will fill up fast! Even if you can only make 1/2 of the games it will be worth it. Check back soon for registration.



Summer Camp (www.topcornerlaxcamps.com)


To all Zip-it and Coronado Players:

This is a camp we asked to come to Las Vegas as an alternative to camps that require travel outside of Nevada. The camp will take place at the UNLV Campus at LaxTech facilities.

All Zip-it Players and Henderson Lacrosse Players will get 10% off of the camp price. This is a great chance to attend a sleep away camp without having to travel. LaxTech and Henderson Coaches will have input about the camps fundamentals, concepts and instructional guidance, however this camp will be run by professional lacrosse players and MCLA and NCAA college coaches. The LaxTech discount code available for all registrations is Laxtech2012. Use of this code will grant you a 10% discount.



Summer Player Training:


LaxTech will be offering individual, group and position specific lessons and drop-ins. Face-off, Goalie, Shooting & Defense sessions will be available. (LaxTech trained players have increased their shooting speeds by 15% in just a few weeks). Group lessons will be age specific and run for 2 hours segments during 2 week periods throughout the summer. Classes will be available for beginner to advanced high school lacrosse players. Group training class sizes will be managed for an effective training experience (for example limited to 20 for Youth players, 15 for Middle School players and not more than 10 for high school players). Private lessons will also be available.



Coaches Training


Not X's and O's, but fundamental training to teach coaches how to train their players to be stronger, faster, and less prone to injury based on LaxTech's research and professional studies.



LaxTech Memberships


LaxTech Membership will include unlimited use of the shooting bays, limited use of the automatic ball feeding bays, unlimited use of the Gym with weight training instruction designed specifically to develop lacrosse players. All players with memberships will get a thorough Evaluation and have their Shot Speed Certified and re-evaluated every 6 months. Check back soon for more information about LaxTech memberships.
